On September 26, 2015, Carlisle belts celebrated the sale of its one billionth belt.
How many is a billion? One billion is a thousand million - that’s a lot of belts. If a billion Carlisle belts were put on top of each other, they would reach to the moon. If you tried to count those one billion belts, you would be counting for 95 years. This is a milestone achievement and represents the solid execution of all employees, both past and present.
Carlisle Belts, headquartered in Springfield, Missouri with a sister facility located in Fort Scott, Kansas, is an industry-leading supplier of power transmission belts for industrial, commercial and consumer applications.
